Why I'm in love with you- Winter Body Care

Winter's coming up!
It's getting colder and colder!
BRRR!

We start to bring out the old sweaters, those fuzzy slippers, the socks, and put away those shorts and flip flops. Well, it's also time to switch to something more hydrating so you don't get dry skin this winter.

BODY CARE:
-body wash/bar soap
-lotion
-body scrubs
-hand cream
-foot cream

My picks!:

I HAVE to say that I do bathe with a bar soap. And not just any bar soap. DOVE!

It moisturizes me so WELL! And it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or itchy either(: A different edition, that does about the same thing, is the Nutrium Moisture Body Wash collections.
I love it! And I barely go a shower without it. On some occasions, I use some other things too:

For Dry Skin:

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Hydrating Body Wash

It leaves my skin really soft, and no itching, no dryness..nothing! It smells SOOO amazing too!
And it's got some amazing lotions from the same collection too!

For extremely dry and itchy skin:

Eucerin Calming Body Wash Shower Oil

I've used it during the summers, when my legs and arms were so itchy! I went to the doctor, and she recommended this and the matching Calming Creme Lotion. It helped me wonders!

For Normal skin that needs a little bit of....GLOW:
Rainbath® Deep Moisture Body WashRainbath Deep Moisture Body Wash

I used this last winter and it was really good! I felt like my skin was sooo soft and smooth. However, I used this in summer to relieve my itchy legs and arms, but it wouldn't work. So, if you have normal skin that just needs a little bit more GLOW or refreshing, then this one's for you.

Which ones are always with me: Dove Bar Soap, Aveeno, and Eucerin Calming Body Wash Shower Gel

Lotions:

For Dry/Sensitive Skin (or any kind really!):

Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion

This is some REALLY good stuff. It leaves my skin so baby touchable. It moisturizes very well...there's so much to say! But the main point, is that it works for ANYONE. Teens, middle age, seniors..anyone! It'll moisturize and keep your skin soft and smooth!

For relaxing:

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Soothing 24 Hour Body Moisturizer

This is the match to the Aveeno Body Wash mentioned above. This smells sooo good! Amazingly good! It'll wake up your senses and give you the smell of those heavenly flowers!

For Repairing Skin/Itchy, Dry Skin:

Eucerin Calming Creme

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this product. It has oatmeal and other good super power moisturizes in it, so it moisturzies and fixes your skin in a wink!

What's always with me: Eucerin Calming Creme and Cetaphil Moisturizer

And SCRUBS:

Body Scrubs are the ones that get help get rid of those dead skin cells faster, so it relives more glowing and healthier skin. And just like you exfolaite with scrubs on your face, you need to do that to your body too.

Sugar Scrub Body ExfoliatorNeutogena Sugar Scrub Body Exfoliater

This is the one that I will always use! I love ittt! Every time I use it, and run out of the shower, my skin feels so good...like a baby's butt! ha ha ha! I lovee it!

Deep Sea Cosmetics Dead Sea Relaxing Body ScrubDead Sea Relaxing Body Scrub

This one is also a main favorite! It does a really good job, however I use the Neutrogena one more often then I use this one! But I love this a lot too, it relaxes you a lot, and it feels like your skin is yelling "FINALLY!" hahahah!

What's always with me: Neutrogena Sugar Scrub

Hand Cream: (just one!)

Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream

This one like never comes off! It's non greasy, pretty lightweight and it even lasts during hand washing! I will, probably , never ever use another hand cream!

Foot Cream (just one!):

Holiday Shea It Isn't So Shea Butter Foot Cream - True Blue® Spa - Bath & Body WorksHoliday Shea It Isn't so Shea Butter Foot Cream (Bath and Body Works)

I love this stuff! And yes the picture is the one of the holiday edition. And I'm about 99.8% sure that the regular one and this one are exactly alike! Give it about a week. Last year, I believe, my feet were dry and almost cracked. So I went to Bath and Body Works, I got this stuff, and I was pretty sure it wasn't gonna work. I took my shower, got in my pj's, rubbed this all over my feet and went to sleep. The next day...WALA! Soft feet! You HAVE to try this!

Wow! This is pretty much...
things that I can't live without!

DEFINING CHEEKBONES (CONTOUR)

Defining your cheekbones A.K.A. contouring can add more color to your face, make you look 5 lbs. thinner, and give you a more glowing complexion.

What You Need:

-bronzer powder (bronzer)
(try finding a bronzer that's about 5-6 shades darker than your normal, foundation shade)

Some great bronzer powders:

-a nice brush :)

A chisel brush will probably work best, but a normal brush is fine too

When applying:

(these steps should be done after you applied your foundation, concealer, powder..etc.)

-Sweep some bronzer powder on your brush, and suck in your cheeks. Meaning make that 'fish face'. Take the powder and simply sweep it across the line right there.

**Extra Tip:  Make sure you don't sweep it too much to the center. Meaning, look straight and make sure your bronzer doesn't isn't too forward of your pupil. (The powder shouldn't be all over, it should just right)

-Then you can also apply some on your temples, and maybe a bit on your jawline. Places where the sun naturally hits your face.

Here is a diagram though:

After this, you can also apply some blush and highlight :)

Break up Workout

My best friend was recently dumped by a guy that she was with about 5 months.
Why?
No idea.

He didn't leave any reasons. Just "I'm breaking up with you. Take Care."
As simple as that.

My friend has been crying and her heart has been aching for the last 3 weeks. It's horrible!

So, I told her to get it and hit the workout! The Break Up Workout!

-GNO. orrr BNO. Girls Night Out orr Boys Night Out. Get with some of your best friends and hit a party or go see a movie or something, and have FUN! It'll take off your mind of it! Dance at the party, laugh at the movies, treat yourself to ice cream at the mall! Anything!

-It's simple of what this phrase means: "The more broken hearts, the more closer you are to find the one." This one always brings sunny skies. I told this to my friend, and she said "You're right. Now, I now that I'm closer". Keep this in mind!

Everyone has known what it is like to "like like" someone.
It gives you the butterflies.
The flirt inside you.
The way your tummy feels when you see them.
And. You can't stop thinking about them.

And, once in everyone's life, we all come to the point where we REALLY REALLY like someone, and they hurt us. They might not wanna hurt us purposely, but they do hurt us.
And we're knocked down.
Am I right?
No.

Don't let a stupid girl/boy just knock you down like that!
Does he/she deserve your tears? Tears are meant for the caring ones.

So keep your head up guys!
I know it hurts. And it hurts even more to see your best friend go through all this ...

crap.

But it'll be okay!

Things happen. Everyone moves on.
But remember that one day, you'll find that one. And your fairytale is fulfilled.

I REALLY hope this helps guys!
I know I'm not that a good advice person, but I just felt like putting this out there.

And instead of listening to love songs, listen to dance music and concentrate on other things. If you like art, paint more pictures! Take more pictures, play your instrument. Anything that distracts you.
It'll be amazing(: It hurts.

To have this devastating feeling. But.
Things happen. We move on.
And find the one.
Right here in our arms.

love.
(:
byebye guys!

P.S. if you have any other advice I can add here, or suggest to my friend email me at tsorain@gmail.com

And P.S. P.S.
If you don't mind, EMAIL me. :) Why?
Unlike facebook, Blogger doesn't give notifications of comments or etc. So I can't immediately know if you guys posted anything. So if you have a QUESTION/COMMENT then EMAIL ME.
At tsorain@gmail.com

A no cook treat(: From Paula Deen

Ohhh the smell of chocolate!

A few days ago, I was sitting and watching TV, when I came to food network and I saw Paula Dean prepare an AMAZING looking desert.
I didn't even listen to what she was saying, I was just watching the food...so I missed out.

But, it looks very simple, and this is how we're gonna do it. She used Custard, but that takes too much work (haha) so I substituted it with whipped cream.

Ingredients:

-Graham Crackers
-Whipped Topping (Redi Whip)
-Melted chocolate (hot fudge, chocolate syrup..whatever you like)

Take your CONTAINER as in your pan or whatver and cover it with graham crackers. Just place it one by one making sure their covering the whole container.

Now take your Redi Whip (or w/e your using) and smear a thick layer on top of the graham crackers

Now add another layer of the Graham Crackers on top of that

And top it off with the chocolate syrup or hot fudge on top of that

Take a piece and ENJOY!

This recipe is sooo easy, so simple, and with the best ingrendients EVER! So cheap, and right in your pantry.

Love it(:

Hope you guys liked this! And you can take the pieces in a zip loc for lunch or something.
You can substitute the chocolate with white chocolate, caramel...anything you like.

Who's your BFF this WINTER?

Winter is coming!
Oh Jolly!

Walmart already has all the candy and the perfume sets out. And we have about a month and a half. ! haha! But winter is coming! So is the humidity! And so will your skin!

Everyone should slightly change their skin care routine when winter rolls by. In winter, you'll have less moisture, more dry and cracked skin. How do we stop that? You prevent it. This is almost the perfect time to get started. It's starting to get windy, but before it starts to snow, get your skin prepared!

So, boy, do I have a suprise for you!
So, tell me.

Who's your BFF this WINTER?
WINTER. WINTER!!!

Lotion? that's important...but no.
Sunscreen? That's SUPER important...but no.
Cleansers? No.
Deo? Haha!
Perfume? Smelling good....but no.

Guess who just knocked?
VASELINE.

Vaseline is gonna be your BFF this WINTER, and it's always mine. Be sure, no matter what, to have a bottle of lotion and some Vaseline on your nightstand.

Get off the lip gloss ladies!
It's time for Vaseline to moisturize!

Here are some tips (and tricks!) how vaseline can help your winter skin be more clean and fresh:

-When you go to bed, dab some Vaseline on your lips. ....i think this is a no brainer. But trust me, your lips are gonna be soooo soft!

-FACIAL MOISTURIZER. Sometimes, after you clean your face, moisturize your face with Vaseline. Your skin will be soft and smooth and more moisturized then ever!

-all over body moisturizer. after you step out from your shower, smear vaseline all over you, so you get added moisture

So here comes Captain Vaseline to help you get smooth skin, BEFORE you start getting the rough skin :D

Also, another way you can stop dry skin is getting a HUMIDIFIER. Their amazing :-) Another good alternative, is if you wet some towels and just hang them on your door, chair, etc. It'll do the same thing ;)

Vaseline love.

Avocado on your bod! -say what? A romantic dinner for two- how to do a romantic chignon

Ever heard of scrubbing avocados on your body?
Like literally. And just mushing it and scrubbing it on your body like it's a soap?
I think yes.

Well! I tried it today!
And let me just tell you.
It was horrible. Horribly AMAZING!

I lovedd it!
It's so plain and simple. All you do is just mush an avocado and just...well scrub it well all over your body. Avocados have natural oils and moisturizers, so afterwards, your skin is so DANG SOFT!
I lovedd it!

It's sooo good! And especially, since we're about to hit the cold, dry months, I think that you should do it about ....let's say once per 2 weeks, or once every week.
You HAVE to try it! It leaves you skin so sofftt! Andd, their not that expensive either :DD

Now, for my romantic dinner for two. Well, to start off...NO! It's not food :P geez. haha
So what is a romantic chignon?
It's a SUPER pretty look, that is so perfect on medium to long hair. And it looks sooo pretty on anyone!

This is what you do:

-Tie a normal (low) ponytail

-Now just TWIST your ponytail

-And now just wind it back up like a bun and secure it with a band

And you can let some hair strands out for a good rocker look haha

I love this look!
It's so low maintenance, so easy, and it looks super pretty on anyone.

Well byebye guys!

Imma blow you away! -blowout

Ever heard of a BLOWOUT?
Well my friend got a haircut yesterday, and she HATED it. The hairdresser had pretty much cut her hair, and put like a gallon of gel in there.
So my friend, the immediate time she saw herself in the mirror, she simply said "thanks", her mom paid for the haircut and she got in the car, and her mom drove her home. She called me and said HELP! I seriously have no idea what to do.

So I immediately rode my bike to her house and we agreed that we would give her a BLOWOUT. (that's what she calls it atleast haha)

So she ran to the shower while I was getting all the stuff ready. She washed her hair with John Frieda Luxorious Volume Full Splendor Shampoo and it's matching conditioner.

So know we had to run back to my house and get the Redken Thickening Lotion
Redken Thickening Lotion 06 16oz

(you can get it off AMAZON.com)

So STEPS:

-run some thickening cream in your hair

- pull your hair BACK into a HALF ponytail

-use a medium ROUND brush and go through half and half with it for a blow dry and remember to point the nozzle DOWN

-Put on a heat defense spray/cream or something

-now STRAIGHTEN your hair but don't go all the way to the tips, stop about 2-3 inches, so it doesn't look all styled

-And your done!

You can put some COCONUT OIL to give it a little bit of a shine, or some shine serum or something.

Well that's how to master the blowout! Her hair looked normal and good and this is definetly a hairstyle that gives you a low-maintenance bed hair, toussled kinda look!

P.S. She used John Frieda so it would give her a little bit more volume to add on to the straightening :-)
