Why I'm in love with you- Summer Body Care

Summer's coming up!

Let's hit the beach, get out the sandals, the bathing suits, the sunglasses...and of course, the ice cream. Your skin needs might also change during the Summer...

So here is a list to maintaining great skin during the summer, and transforming your dry, winter skin into silky, gorgeous skin

For Daily regular bar soap:

Dove White Bar Soap

The classic Dove White. It's amazing, doesn't dry out skin, it's sooo rich and creamy, and it's the perfect everyday bar soap

For itch relief:

Eucerin Calming Body Wash Daily Shower Oil

Eucerin Calming Body Wash

Amazing wonder for dry, itchy skin! Last year, my skin was severely dry and itchy, and the dermatologist recommended this. And it really calms down! It's fragrance free...so no need to worry if you have sensitive skin. For even better results, check out the matching lotions/cremes.

Wake up! Body Wash:

Dove Go fresh BURST body wash

The perfect compliment to a great awakening shower. The smell will revive your senses, and you'll probably end up dancing in the shower! This brightens up anyone's mood, and it also has nurtium moisture, so your skin is happy too!

Exfoliating Body Wash:

St. Ives Purify Exfoliating Body Wash

The best! It has mineral salt, which is perfect for getting soft skin! I have SUPER sensitive skin, so most exfoliating body washes leave my skin irritated and red. But not this. This is gentle...effective...and budget friendly! Unfortunately, few stores still keep this product :/

Natural Scrub

This is a superrbbbb scrub! This will leave skin so amazingly soft!

You just need to mix some olive oil and sugar...and ta da! You can use this even on your face (maybe not for sensitive skin though) and you can exfoliate your lips with this too!

LOTIONS:

For Super Dry skin:

Eucerin Intensive Repair Creme

The king of helping dry skin! It's so rich in alpha hydroxy, it replenishes skin, it's so rich and so great! It's fragrance free, so once again, if you have sensitive skin...no need to worry!

A touch of SMILE lotion:

Nivea Happy Sensation Body Lotion

Oh myyy! This is the favorite! When I put this on, I literally start smiling, laughing, dancing, remembering all the wonderful moments in life. It really brightens up your morning, and it leaves your skin lightly fragranced...so it isn't too strong...it's just perfect.

Relaxing, Natural Lotion:

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

This lotion has active naturals, natural ingredients, that help moisturize, calm, and soothe skin. A wonderful start to the morning!

A touch of Mist:

Dove Go Fresh Body Mist

Yeah, I don't use the deo, but I do love the mists! Everyday, after my shower, I spritz some of this, to give me a nice, light smell. Unlike other mists, it's really not strong, and it keeps you like a flower... fragranced and beautiful.

This is it! I hope you enjoyed this!

Quick Beauty Tip of the day!

Tired of dry cracked elbows and knees?

Well fear no more...Dr. Quick Beauty Tip of the Day is here!

Yes indeed! All you need is one lemon.

Just cut the lemon and scrub it on your elbows, knees... severely dried, cracked places.

Now just rinse; and moisturize!

Why does this work?

Lemons have AHA and BHAs that will help take the dead skin cells off; so you can reveal your glowing skin. They replenish much better, and they are an excellent scrub...even for the face!

Try this quick tip out...see if it works for yourself! I hope this helps!
Have a gorgeoussssss and amazinggg day!

Quick Gift Idea!

Got a skin care frenzy person you know? And maybe...you're just going to their home, and you don't know what to get them?

Well...here's an idea!

Try making a sugar scrub!

Our family friends, yesterday, came to our home yesterday, and gifted us with a olive oil and brown sugar scrub.

At first, we are amazed, and we thought they had probably gotten it from this fancy pants store, and the scrub must have cost more than $20.

But then, they spilled, and told us that it was completely homemade, and all they did was just put it in a simple jar. We were so amazed...it seriously looked like a million bucks!

And then, when we actually tried it, it was pretty much the same thing as the olive oil scrub (that I keep talking about) and it also did leave my skin soft and silky.

So here is the super super easy, in a minute flash gift...that you can easily make under $5!

Here's what you need:

-Olive oil
-Sugar (brown or regular)
-Jar (you can even get one from the dollar tree)
-Ribbon
-Optional: a tag

-First simply make the scrub. Mix the olive oil and sugar together, and remember to make it not to runny or not too hard.

-Just pour the scrub in the jar (or you can just stir/make it in the jar)

-Make sure the scrub is neat and settled.

-Then just take the ribbon and put it in a bow over the lid.

-If you want, you can punch a hole in the ribbon, punch a hole in the tag, put a ribbon over your tag; and then apply the tag on the lid's ribbon.

This is the easiest gift you can make...under 5 minutes, and under $5!

And there you go! I know for fact, that is this one of the things that I'll be making for my mom on Mother's Day!

okie, byee!

(ooh I love pampering!)

DIY Body Scrub

okay, so we're (kinda) back with a brand new DIY project.

I know it's winter, and winter is usually the time where dry skin kicks in, and everything feels just so dehydrated.
But hey, it's almost March, where I'm at, the snow hasn't hit for about 3 weeks now...so that's good.
And before we know it, summer/bikini season AKA "show some skin" season will be started

Sleeveless tops, shorts, skirts, all that stuff....and hey everyone wants a silky finish.

So first off - Stay HYDRATED! Drink atleast 8 glasses per day!

2) Don't take baths! Take quick WARM showers. And if you do want to do for a bath, then drop some moisturizing bath beads or bath oils to moisturize your skin.

3) Keep your lotion right beside your soap/body wash. Even before you grab your towel, stop and moisturize all over your body. It will definitely will slippery, but it will lock in moisture!

4) Use petroleum jelly. This is the most, silliest idea ever. But I use this on my face, too. Cleanse, moisturize and put petroleum jelly to lock in all that moisture. (of course, this is completely optional...but it truly leaves skin soft and hydrated) Try to use a little bit at first, so it doesn't make you break out or make your skin irritated.

Now...it's really important to determine what your using to scrub.

There's TONS of scrubs out there! From St.Ives, neutrogena, bath and body works, the body shop and the higher ends....you have to determine which works for you.

But there's one in your kitchen, that will also do you WONDERS!

What you need:
-Olive Oil
-Sugar (brown or regular...doesn't matter)

Mix these guys together and there you have a good scrub. Now you can use it everyday, every week...whatever to get your beautiful silky skin.

Why this works:

Olive Oil- Is a main ingredient in tons of scrubs out there in the market. It's known for it's moisturizing properties and cleansing and softening properties.

Sugar- Probably the best, basic ingredient for amazing exfoliation!

I store it in a PONDS lotion bottle...I'm all out, and it's perfect for that. And it's right next to my soap!

Allright guys, that was it for today. I hope this works for you guys, right in time for summer!

Why I'm in love with you- Winter Body Care

Winter's coming up!
It's getting colder and colder!
BRRR!

We start to bring out the old sweaters, those fuzzy slippers, the socks, and put away those shorts and flip flops. Well, it's also time to switch to something more hydrating so you don't get dry skin this winter.

BODY CARE:
-body wash/bar soap
-lotion
-body scrubs
-hand cream
-foot cream

My picks!:

I HAVE to say that I do bathe with a bar soap. And not just any bar soap. DOVE!

It moisturizes me so WELL! And it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or itchy either(: A different edition, that does about the same thing, is the Nutrium Moisture Body Wash collections.
I love it! And I barely go a shower without it. On some occasions, I use some other things too:

For Dry Skin:

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Hydrating Body Wash

It leaves my skin really soft, and no itching, no dryness..nothing! It smells SOOO amazing too!
And it's got some amazing lotions from the same collection too!

For extremely dry and itchy skin:

Eucerin Calming Body Wash Shower Oil

I've used it during the summers, when my legs and arms were so itchy! I went to the doctor, and she recommended this and the matching Calming Creme Lotion. It helped me wonders!

For Normal skin that needs a little bit of....GLOW:
Rainbath® Deep Moisture Body WashRainbath Deep Moisture Body Wash

I used this last winter and it was really good! I felt like my skin was sooo soft and smooth. However, I used this in summer to relieve my itchy legs and arms, but it wouldn't work. So, if you have normal skin that just needs a little bit more GLOW or refreshing, then this one's for you.

Which ones are always with me: Dove Bar Soap, Aveeno, and Eucerin Calming Body Wash Shower Gel

Lotions:

For Dry/Sensitive Skin (or any kind really!):

Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion

This is some REALLY good stuff. It leaves my skin so baby touchable. It moisturizes very well...there's so much to say! But the main point, is that it works for ANYONE. Teens, middle age, seniors..anyone! It'll moisturize and keep your skin soft and smooth!

For relaxing:

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Soothing 24 Hour Body Moisturizer

This is the match to the Aveeno Body Wash mentioned above. This smells sooo good! Amazingly good! It'll wake up your senses and give you the smell of those heavenly flowers!

For Repairing Skin/Itchy, Dry Skin:

Eucerin Calming Creme

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this product. It has oatmeal and other good super power moisturizes in it, so it moisturzies and fixes your skin in a wink!

What's always with me: Eucerin Calming Creme and Cetaphil Moisturizer

And SCRUBS:

Body Scrubs are the ones that get help get rid of those dead skin cells faster, so it relives more glowing and healthier skin. And just like you exfolaite with scrubs on your face, you need to do that to your body too.

Sugar Scrub Body ExfoliatorNeutogena Sugar Scrub Body Exfoliater

This is the one that I will always use! I love ittt! Every time I use it, and run out of the shower, my skin feels so good...like a baby's butt! ha ha ha! I lovee it!

Deep Sea Cosmetics Dead Sea Relaxing Body ScrubDead Sea Relaxing Body Scrub

This one is also a main favorite! It does a really good job, however I use the Neutrogena one more often then I use this one! But I love this a lot too, it relaxes you a lot, and it feels like your skin is yelling "FINALLY!" hahahah!

What's always with me: Neutrogena Sugar Scrub

Hand Cream: (just one!)

Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream

This one like never comes off! It's non greasy, pretty lightweight and it even lasts during hand washing! I will, probably , never ever use another hand cream!

Foot Cream (just one!):

Holiday Shea It Isn't So Shea Butter Foot Cream - True Blue® Spa - Bath & Body WorksHoliday Shea It Isn't so Shea Butter Foot Cream (Bath and Body Works)

I love this stuff! And yes the picture is the one of the holiday edition. And I'm about 99.8% sure that the regular one and this one are exactly alike! Give it about a week. Last year, I believe, my feet were dry and almost cracked. So I went to Bath and Body Works, I got this stuff, and I was pretty sure it wasn't gonna work. I took my shower, got in my pj's, rubbed this all over my feet and went to sleep. The next day...WALA! Soft feet! You HAVE to try this!

Wow! This is pretty much...
things that I can't live without!
Whew! haha
