Summer Skin Care

Summer is all about the hot, hot weather...and humid temperatures. So here are some quick little tips to go in harmony with your skin this summer. Yeah, that made no sense at all...but let's just do it!

-Try a Tinted Moisturizer

Tired of your foundation smearing off? Well try a tinted moisturizer! Keeps you covered, and makes much better friends with humid climates.

-Be sure to change your foundation tones.

Everyone's skin tone gets a little bit darker in the summer, so your foundation should too!

-Get a good primer

The primer will help your hard work of doing your makeup stay a bit longer(:

-Stay Hydrated

Drink tons and tons of water! If your tired of the plain old taste of water, try adding some cucumber or lemon to spice it up a bit ;)

-Cool Down with some Aloe Vera

Put "Aloe Vera Gel" on your shopping list. Aloe Vera is a great natural cool down for your skin. It's great for any redness, or just simply soothing down the skin.

-Go easy on your moisturizer (face)

It's summer, and humid is in the air. Going easy on your moisturizer will save you an excess oily face (along with all the sweating!).

-Sunscreen

Even if it's a cloudy day, be sure to always wear sunscreen! And even if your in the car driving, wear your sunscreen!

-Exfoliate your skin

As your hitting the beach, having fun; your skin gets a bit more dull. So be sure to exfoliate your skin once every week to rough off any dead skin cells, and revealing glowing, radiant skin.

-Pick a body moisturizer that you love the smell of

Pick a lotion that you actually will remember to apply. Pick a summerrryyy one(:

-Have a healthy diet

A healthy diet can seriously do wonders for great skin. It's summer, so be sure to stock up on your favorite fruits!

And last but not least...

Just have fun!

Go throw waterballoons at each other, play a new instrument, go to the park, go swimming, tell someone "i love you.", dance like crazy, smile, try new things, go sky diving, go on a roller coaster, go eat some ice cream, go watch the History Channel, visit a museum, watch a movie, climb a mountain, explore new places, try mushroom and onion pizza, laugh...and ENJOY LIFE(:

Why I'm in love with you- Summer Body Care

Summer's coming up!

Let's hit the beach, get out the sandals, the bathing suits, the sunglasses...and of course, the ice cream. Your skin needs might also change during the Summer...

So here is a list to maintaining great skin during the summer, and transforming your dry, winter skin into silky, gorgeous skin

For Daily regular bar soap:

Dove White Bar Soap

The classic Dove White. It's amazing, doesn't dry out skin, it's sooo rich and creamy, and it's the perfect everyday bar soap

For itch relief:

Eucerin Calming Body Wash Daily Shower Oil

Eucerin Calming Body Wash

Amazing wonder for dry, itchy skin! Last year, my skin was severely dry and itchy, and the dermatologist recommended this. And it really calms down! It's fragrance free...so no need to worry if you have sensitive skin. For even better results, check out the matching lotions/cremes.

Wake up! Body Wash:

Dove Go fresh BURST body wash

The perfect compliment to a great awakening shower. The smell will revive your senses, and you'll probably end up dancing in the shower! This brightens up anyone's mood, and it also has nurtium moisture, so your skin is happy too!

Exfoliating Body Wash:

St. Ives Purify Exfoliating Body Wash

The best! It has mineral salt, which is perfect for getting soft skin! I have SUPER sensitive skin, so most exfoliating body washes leave my skin irritated and red. But not this. This is gentle...effective...and budget friendly! Unfortunately, few stores still keep this product :/

Natural Scrub

This is a superrbbbb scrub! This will leave skin so amazingly soft!

You just need to mix some olive oil and sugar...and ta da! You can use this even on your face (maybe not for sensitive skin though) and you can exfoliate your lips with this too!

LOTIONS:

For Super Dry skin:

Eucerin Intensive Repair Creme

The king of helping dry skin! It's so rich in alpha hydroxy, it replenishes skin, it's so rich and so great! It's fragrance free, so once again, if you have sensitive skin...no need to worry!

A touch of SMILE lotion:

Nivea Happy Sensation Body Lotion

Oh myyy! This is the favorite! When I put this on, I literally start smiling, laughing, dancing, remembering all the wonderful moments in life. It really brightens up your morning, and it leaves your skin lightly fragranced...so it isn't too strong...it's just perfect.

Relaxing, Natural Lotion:

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

This lotion has active naturals, natural ingredients, that help moisturize, calm, and soothe skin. A wonderful start to the morning!

A touch of Mist:

Dove Go Fresh Body Mist

Yeah, I don't use the deo, but I do love the mists! Everyday, after my shower, I spritz some of this, to give me a nice, light smell. Unlike other mists, it's really not strong, and it keeps you like a flower... fragranced and beautiful.

This is it! I hope you enjoyed this!

Easy Skin and Fitness Routines

I've been dying to find a perfect fitness and skin care routine....ones that I can ACTUALLY keep up with and do...

Eating Healthy and exercise and super important to keep your weight in check and get yourself a lean, healthy body.

And of course...we all want our skin to be flawless... preferably without the makeup...

So here is my easy fitness routine:

-Run 2 miles on the treadmill (yeah I know..I'm weak..) haha
You gotta make your body strong. And plus...your heart loves a good workout... (even though your brain might not) haha

-Do half an hour - an hour of pilates
Try getting a pilates DVD, one you can do at home; or sign up for a class in your local gym or community center.

If your not a "lifting weights" person, then don't worry. A lot of people (including me) hate it too. But that doesn't mean you get an automatic pass to not toning your body.

Pilates is a really great way to tone your body...and combined with Cardio...really gives you an amazing body

-Dance

It's simple as that. You can dance in your own bedroom, or you can sign up for Zumba classes. Dancing is the most fun way to get a kick outta your workout.

Eat healthy & Drink lots of water!

Skin Routine:

I'm going to break up my skin routine into two...the AM (morning/day) and then PM (nightime).

AM)

-Wash face with Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser

-Put on a egg mask (on the red..swelled parts of my skin :( ). I hate using prescription creams and all....I really prefer if my skin is natural. So I go with my simple egg mask.

-Moisturize with Eucerin.

-Run to go catch the bus! haha

PM)

-Wash face with Cetaphil

-Moisturize with Eucerin

-Apply/rub petroleum jelly all over my face

-Use the Aveeno Smart Essentials anti fatigue eye treatment

-Apply some petroleum jelly or carmex on my lips...and go to sleep!

-When I have a zit/blemish, I apply the ELF zit zapper to the areas and go to sleep

And on some occasions, I use the Olay ProX Power Cleasner to exfoliate my skin

Hopefully you guys will find this...somewhat helpful..this is my routines, and they have sticked to me for some time...hopefully you guys will find yours!

Have an aammamazinggg day!
