Easy Skin and Fitness Routines

I've been dying to find a perfect fitness and skin care routine....ones that I can ACTUALLY keep up with and do...

Eating Healthy and exercise and super important to keep your weight in check and get yourself a lean, healthy body.




And of course...we all want our skin to be flawless... preferably without the makeup...




So here is my easy fitness routine:

-Run 2 miles on the treadmill (yeah I know..I'm weak..) haha
You gotta make your body strong. And plus...your heart loves a good workout... (even though your brain might not) haha

-Do half an hour - an hour of pilates
Try getting a pilates DVD, one you can do at home; or sign up for a class in your local gym or community center.

If your not a "lifting weights" person, then don't worry. A lot of people (including me) hate it too. But that doesn't mean you get an automatic pass to not toning your body.

Pilates is a really great way to tone your body...and combined with Cardio...really gives you an amazing body

-Dance

It's simple as that. You can dance in your own bedroom, or you can sign up for Zumba classes. Dancing is the most fun way to get a kick outta your workout.


Eat healthy & Drink lots of water!


Skin Routine:



I'm going to break up my skin routine into two...the AM (morning/day) and then PM (nightime).

AM)

-Wash face with Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser

-Put on a egg mask (on the red..swelled parts of my skin :( ). I hate using prescription creams and all....I really prefer if my skin is natural. So I go with my simple egg mask.

-Moisturize with Eucerin.

-Run to go catch the bus! haha


PM)

-Wash face with Cetaphil

-Moisturize with Eucerin

-Apply/rub petroleum jelly all over my face

-Use the Aveeno Smart Essentials anti fatigue eye treatment

-Apply some petroleum jelly or carmex on my lips...and go to sleep!

-When I have a zit/blemish, I apply the ELF zit zapper to the areas and go to sleep

And on some occasions, I use the Olay ProX Power Cleasner to exfoliate my skin


Hopefully you guys will find this...somewhat helpful..this is my routines, and they have sticked to me for some time...hopefully you guys will find yours!

How to get Soft Skin



Soft Skin is a staple for summer. This is the season when everyone gets back in the gym, and when you look for your skirts, shorts, tees, camis and other items.

Who doesn't want soft skin? Soft skin= radiant skin= healthy skin

So here's a super simple guide on getting soft skin AND at the same time, pampering yourself and having that "me time" !

The secret to getting great skin is having a great scrub.

Body Scrubs are going to be the ones that scrub away all the dead skin cells so your new, glowing skin cells begin to show through.

Here is the most amazing DIY scrub EVER (no joke!):


It is seriously the best scrub EVER, and will make even the driest skin soft and silky.


-Right after you get out of the shower, slather lotion all over you. Choose a rich moisturizer that TRULY, really hydrates your skin. I suggest Cetaphil or Jergens. The reason why you should do it immediately when you step out from the shower, is so when you put the lotion, and all that water is locked in, and you get hydrated skin


-If you have really dry skin, try moisturizing TWICE a day.


-Try finding when you want to do the scrub. I do mine every week (on a saturday) so I maintain hydrated, soft skin.


-Honestly, try using baby products. Try it. The baby brands tend to keep chemicals out of their products, designed for baby's delicate skin. For some people, it actually works, and they end up getting baby soft skin.


-Try using NATURAL ingredients, such as olive oil, coconut oil, or jojoba oil. Moisturizing with natural oil is a really nice massage and they quench your skin really well. (make sure you go with extra virgin olive oil though)


-Try to use sunscreen every time you step out from the house. It's going to protect you from the sun's harmful rays.

And try the updo! (it's easy!)



Just make sure to hydrate yourself with 8 glasses of water (or more!) a day! Nice beautiful skin starts from within. So eat healthy, and live happily!
