Well, I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin. I have always wanted a cleanser that I would use every night, but I've tried everything, from the gentlest St.Ives Scrub to Clearasil. And I've always ended up getting rashes, breakouts, .... oooh lord!! So, I thought that I make a homemade facial cleanser that I would use everyday.
So, I was working ... (skip this if you don't wanna read my story hahahah). Well, I was just wondering on, ...on the web, and I decided that I look up "Baking Soda" ... and YES this is a real story! And I was going over their neighborhood thing, and it said that I could use this everyday! (since it was gentle enough)
So I decided to give it a whirl, and I went along with it. I tried it...and it worked beautifully!! It gave me soft glowing skin because it removes dead skin cells(: hahah, so if this works for me...the one with verrryyy sensitive skin...then it will most definetly work for you! Give it a whirl!
Here's the little ole recipe:
What you'll need:
- Baking Soda
-And Water .
& Here's what you do:
Take about 3 parts baking soda, and 1 part water. Mix them together. Then give a splash of warm water on your face to open your pores. Apply the paste in circular motion to exfoliate. And then rinse off, and dab with a towel. Soft Skin, here we come!
So give it a try! And remember to take a bit of moisturizer to lock in the moisture! Baking Soda has sooo many uses, you can even go to Arm and Hammer's website and go on their neighborhood thing so you guys can discover new ways for baking soda! Try this cleanser and email me at tsorain@gmail.com and tell me if it worked for you and gave you results!
Take Care
-Ellie
P.S. You might have also heard to mix baking soda and lemon juice together to cleanse your face. I did that, and I wouldn't recommend it if you have extremely sensitive skin. Afterwards it kinda burns, but then it gets better. Try the Baking Soda and water because it's much gentler. I don't know how lemon juice and sugar works for me, and baking soda and lemon juice doesn't; but I had never felt burning when I used the lemon juice and sugar.
