Everyday Makeup Routine

This simple, easy, fast makeup look literally looks great on anyone. And this look has only 5 main steps...which can be done in less than 10 minutes!

I have also included some "guides" (haha...sureee) on tips on how to properly apply the makeup product. Haha, hope you guys like it! :DD

It can be a school look, a office look, or a light party look!

1) Foundation.

If you don't like foundation, then use a tinted moisturizer. Evenly apply the foundation, and remember to work outwards.

I used: Loreal True Match Foundation

2) Concealer (if you need it)

Apply concealer in any places of redness, around blemishes, dark circles...

I used: Maybelline dream mousse concealer

3) Powder

Try using translucent powder, because it won't alter your makeup. Don't powder everywhere, a little dewy-ness looks gorgeous (especially on the cheeks)

I used: revlon photo ready translucent powder

3+ ) Bronzer and blush

This definetly adds more warmth and color to your face. You can contour with the bronzer powder, and it will also sculpt about 5 pounds. The blush will also make your cheeks have a flushed color, which looks gorgeous (:

Check this out:

4) Eyeliner

Line your eyes...the way you like them.

If you want a natural look, try using a brown/dark brown eyeliner or any color that makes your eyes pop!

I used: NYC eyeliner

4+) Mascara

I just know some people who are simply in love with their mascara. If you are one of them, then go for it!

5) Lips

The lips are all yours...you can pick any color and type! Since "only eyeliner" eyes are pretty typical, you can go for a fun lip color or a natural one.

I used: Natural lipliner + carmex

I hope you guys liked this little post!

HAPPY (A LITTLE LATE) BIRTHDAY TO MY MOM!!

So yes..yesterday was her birthday (April 29th), but we were so busy celebrating that I completely forgot to make a post!!

She had to cut a cake at her work place, and at home!

We decorated the whole living room with balloons and decorated like we were having a big party or something (which we didn't though).

The cake was from Coldstone, (an ice cream cake) and it was absolutely delicious!

And her surprise gift was a MacBook Pro!

WOO!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Easy Skin and Fitness Routines

I've been dying to find a perfect fitness and skin care routine....ones that I can ACTUALLY keep up with and do...

Eating Healthy and exercise and super important to keep your weight in check and get yourself a lean, healthy body.

And of course...we all want our skin to be flawless... preferably without the makeup...

So here is my easy fitness routine:

-Run 2 miles on the treadmill (yeah I know..I'm weak..) haha
You gotta make your body strong. And plus...your heart loves a good workout... (even though your brain might not) haha

-Do half an hour - an hour of pilates
Try getting a pilates DVD, one you can do at home; or sign up for a class in your local gym or community center.

If your not a "lifting weights" person, then don't worry. A lot of people (including me) hate it too. But that doesn't mean you get an automatic pass to not toning your body.

Pilates is a really great way to tone your body...and combined with Cardio...really gives you an amazing body

-Dance

It's simple as that. You can dance in your own bedroom, or you can sign up for Zumba classes. Dancing is the most fun way to get a kick outta your workout.

Eat healthy & Drink lots of water!

Skin Routine:

I'm going to break up my skin routine into two...the AM (morning/day) and then PM (nightime).

AM)

-Wash face with Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser

-Put on a egg mask (on the red..swelled parts of my skin :( ). I hate using prescription creams and all....I really prefer if my skin is natural. So I go with my simple egg mask.

-Moisturize with Eucerin.

-Run to go catch the bus! haha

PM)

-Wash face with Cetaphil

-Moisturize with Eucerin

-Apply/rub petroleum jelly all over my face

-Use the Aveeno Smart Essentials anti fatigue eye treatment

-Apply some petroleum jelly or carmex on my lips...and go to sleep!

-When I have a zit/blemish, I apply the ELF zit zapper to the areas and go to sleep

And on some occasions, I use the Olay ProX Power Cleasner to exfoliate my skin

Hopefully you guys will find this...somewhat helpful..this is my routines, and they have sticked to me for some time...hopefully you guys will find yours!

Have an aammamazinggg day!

Jordana Pretty Shine Luxury Lip Gloss Review

Today I was at Walgreens...and I found an amaazzingg find! And here I am, sharing it with you!

Glistening super-shine formula. Contains Jojoba Oil to lock in moisture. Lavish, rich, divine color. Ultra glossy finish.

What?

Jordana Pretty Shine Luxury Lip Gloss ($ 1.99 )

Pros?

I insanely am in love with them. Their colors are so nicely pigmented, and they truly are true, rich colors. All their colors stay on for a pretty fair amount of time, and they are your bargain!

They feel and almost look the same as MAC and Nars lipglosses,....the only difference? They are a fraction of the cost! They truly are really luxury colors!

And the best part...their amazingly cheap. When I first tried it at home, I searched for my receipt to make sure that they were $2. So, if your on a budget, here is your cheapoo alternative!

Cons?

None that I see so far...

Where can I get it?

So far, I have only seen Jordana cosmetics at Walgreens...though I might be wrong.

Fav. Shades?

Gorgeous (the rich classic red), Lovely (berryish color), Darling (fushcia), Delightful (a mixture of gorgeous and darling), and Babe (a pinkish brownish)

Rating: 5/5 (:

I love love love this stuff! Hope this review helps you guys!

Have a beautiful day!

Quick Gift Idea!

Got a skin care frenzy person you know? And maybe...you're just going to their home, and you don't know what to get them?

Well...here's an idea!

Try making a sugar scrub!

Our family friends, yesterday, came to our home yesterday, and gifted us with a olive oil and brown sugar scrub.

At first, we are amazed, and we thought they had probably gotten it from this fancy pants store, and the scrub must have cost more than $20.

But then, they spilled, and told us that it was completely homemade, and all they did was just put it in a simple jar. We were so amazed...it seriously looked like a million bucks!

And then, when we actually tried it, it was pretty much the same thing as the olive oil scrub (that I keep talking about) and it also did leave my skin soft and silky.

So here is the super super easy, in a minute flash gift...that you can easily make under $5!

Here's what you need:

-Olive oil
-Sugar (brown or regular)
-Jar (you can even get one from the dollar tree)
-Ribbon
-Optional: a tag

-First simply make the scrub. Mix the olive oil and sugar together, and remember to make it not to runny or not too hard.

-Just pour the scrub in the jar (or you can just stir/make it in the jar)

-Make sure the scrub is neat and settled.

-Then just take the ribbon and put it in a bow over the lid.

-If you want, you can punch a hole in the ribbon, punch a hole in the tag, put a ribbon over your tag; and then apply the tag on the lid's ribbon.

This is the easiest gift you can make...under 5 minutes, and under $5!

And there you go! I know for fact, that is this one of the things that I'll be making for my mom on Mother's Day!

okie, byee!

(ooh I love pampering!)

Happy Earth Day!

Today, April 22, is all about the Earth.
How the Earth provides homes to all of us, how it's so beautiful and so marvelous. The Earth, is truly...amazing.

I'm not only talking about it's beauty, but how it sometimes amazes us. When there is a flood, we have damage, and troubles happen. But there's also a gift in that disaster. It provides rich minerals to the fields it floods, and and the fields will have fertile soil, and excellent to grow crops.

I was checking out many different websites, and I see everyone talking about Eco Friendly Beauty and stuff...but I wanted to do something...a tad bit different.

So here's my challenge to YOU. One day.

Just one day without ANY makeup. What would this day mean to you?

I know, I know...your probably saying...how does this help the Earth?

I really don't really know; but I want you guys to go out and help the environment. Whether it be just turning off the lights, or cleaning up a river. Whatever it is, a little may help. A little, just a paper in the recycle bin, is better than nothing.

Help the Earth! The Earth is our home, and we can't just sit here and do nothing to save THE ONE UNIQUE planet that can SUPPORT LIFE in our solar system, and maybe even galaxy.

SAVE THE MARINE LIFE, SAVE THE WETLANDS, THE HILLS, THE MOUNTAINS, THE OCEANS, THE FORESTS, THE PLAINS!!

SAVE THE EARTH!

One day...without any makeup. Just for one day, try to feel what it feels like to be natural.

Only natural.

Once again, Happy Earth Day! I hope the ones that wear makeup daily, really take this challenge, and see and feel how it feels to be natural.

HAPPY EARTH DAY!

Can't get out of the house? Here are some tips to contribute to Earth Day..without even getting out of your house:

-If no one is in a room, turn off the lights.

-Don't pack your lunch in a paper bag, use a reusable real lunch bag.

-Try using your own reusable bags at the grocery store.

-Did someone tell you to take a note? Reaching for the note pad?
Write it on a dry erase of chalk board.

-Try cleaning the lint filter before you dry your clothes... (in fact, dry your clothes on a drying rack outside)

There's so so so so so much more ways...but those are just a few.

I hope you guys have a beautiful day!
lOVE (:
