DIY NATURAL ZIT ZAPPER

Psssssss
Check your kitchen!

So you wake up to a beautiful morning, and when you look in the mirror....you notice. a. a. ZIT. Yikes! Nobody likes to wake up with a zit that's fire engine red and the size of Mt. Everest.

And even worse, what if you don't have any "3 hour acne medication" stuff, or ran out of it?

Well, no worries. Because...just check your kitchen!

What you need:

-yeast powder
-lemon juice

Twinlab Brewers Yeast

-Now just mix the ingredients well enough to make a nice paste. then take a cotton swab, dip, and dab it on your zit/blemish.

(If you don't have any yeast powder, then you can try using cornstarch)

Why these ingredients?

The yeast (or cornstrach) is good to dry out the zit/blemish.

And the lemon juice has good stuff that takes all the bad stuff out of those zits. (like AHAs, and BHAs)

And I'm guessing that it would probably work best if you leave it on longer. So try going to sleep with this. But even if you only have 15 minutes...etc,; try it, 15 minutes is better than nothing (:

** And if you have REALLY REALLY sensitive skin, just make sure the lemon juice won't irritate your skin!

Some other good remedies:

-ASPIRIN. Take some aspirin, crush it in water; and apply to your face. Aspirin is a good anti-inflammatory agent which helps get the redness out of zits/blemishes.

-ADVIL LIQUI GELS. This is a new 'idea'/trick coming out right now. Just open a capsule and apply it on the pimple.

-HONEY. Just take some honey and apply it on the pimple (or you can do a full face mask). Honey has natural anti-bacterial properties that will help get rid of the pimple much sooner.

Also, here are some tips to camouflage any blemishes/acne with makeup:

Hope this helps! Good Luck
and take care

  1. Great blog. Natural remedies are very popular, because they are often easily accessible, cost effective and free from all the skin damaging chemicals.
Many herbs, tea tree oil, green tea and natural honeys contain beneficial anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties. These assist in reducing inflammation and helps with the skins natural healing processes.
