Ever heard of a BLOWOUT?
Well my friend got a haircut yesterday, and she HATED it. The hairdresser had pretty much cut her hair, and put like a gallon of gel in there.
So my friend, the immediate time she saw herself in the mirror, she simply said "thanks", her mom paid for the haircut and she got in the car, and her mom drove her home. She called me and said HELP! I seriously have no idea what to do.
So I immediately rode my bike to her house and we agreed that we would give her a BLOWOUT. (that's what she calls it atleast haha)
So she ran to the shower while I was getting all the stuff ready. She washed her hair with John Frieda Luxorious Volume Full Splendor Shampoo and it's matching conditioner.
So know we had to run back to my house and get the Redken Thickening Lotion
(you can get it off AMAZON.com)
So STEPS:
-run some thickening cream in your hair
- pull your hair BACK into a HALF ponytail
-use a medium ROUND brush and go through half and half with it for a blow dry and remember to point the nozzle DOWN
-Put on a heat defense spray/cream or something
-now STRAIGHTEN your hair but don't go all the way to the tips, stop about 2-3 inches, so it doesn't look all styled
-And your done!
You can put some COCONUT OIL to give it a little bit of a shine, or some shine serum or something.
Well that's how to master the blowout! Her hair looked normal and good and this is definetly a hairstyle that gives you a low-maintenance bed hair, toussled kinda look!

thickening cream and gallons of gel

P.S. She used John Frieda so it would give her a little bit more volume to add on to the straightening :-)
ANDD! Don't forget to subscribe! The awesome little box is the 3rd box down!
Do I have to straighten it?
ReplyDeleteIf you have naturally straight hair, then you really don't need to.
ReplyDeleteThe straighten just adds more definition into the blowout, that sleek look that the blowout is.
