And really 80s was the time when the style was amazing, when the punk and retro styles were in. But I LOVEE! The 80s! I love their style, their amazing happiness and dance during the time.
So, today we're gonna get vintage.
Everyone probably has some vintage jewelry or something here and there in their closets. To bandanna, leg warmers, miniskirts, bracelets, EVERYTHING!
Okay. So I don't shop at Aero and Abercrombie. I have no idea why, I just think, for some stupid reason, that their not my type. I shop at American Eagle and stuff like that. So, let me tell you if you shop at Hollister or places like that, or the VINTAGE HUNT, you need to ditch those places. And go.
And go.
To a THRIFT STORE.
You heard it. Loud and clear.
Thrift stores have amazing jewelery and things like that.
Now, I'm not a huge fan of thrift stores, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE shopping at discount stores, like Gabriel Brothers, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory.
I love those stores to DEATH! I love going there, as well as Urban Outiftters, DEB, American Eagle, Express, Hot topic and I love Tommy Hilfiger! haha
But those discount stores have a wide variety of jewrely that are vintage, classic, modern, and retro.
I've been to NYC, and I've been in SOHO without realizing it! hahaahhahah! (the picture is from the web)
and in SOHO they have the most amazing stock of vintage jewelry and watches that I've EVER seen! it's amazing!
Here is a list of vintage things that you can hunt for..(well that's in my closet atleast ha ha ha):
-leg warmers
-bandanas (wrist)
-funky cool watches (cuff watches)
-necklaces/bracelets/earrings...jewelry
-shredded miniskirts (with leggings!)
-VANS (shoes)
-belts
here are some favroties that I found online that are SO similiar to the ones that I have:
